Singapore was a pleasant surprise - I only had two days to spend there but I believe I captured the essence of a truly remarkable city-state. I am drawn to the woods and countryside with only a mild interest in city life. But after living in Sydney for 2-1/2 years my outlook changed. I now enjoy immersing myself in the urban environment for it's vibrancy, excitement and cultural diversity. Everyday is a new and different experience for one to absorb. Singapore exudes all of that and more. The unique and thoughtful architecture, rich diversity of cultures, and of course the food - all wrap up into a nice little package of a country that is so worth visiting. I hope you enjoy the photos! (I think my only complaint would be the consistently overcast skies as you will see in the images. But it is the tropics with very heavy, humid air and lots of rain! ;-) )
