I could not find any other information about this tree other than that it is sacred to the Balinese Hindu religion. In the next photo, a worshiper leaves an offering to her Gods.
This Camplung tree is on the grounds of the resort and is a shrine to the Balinese Hindu. Everywhere you go around Bali, you see these offerings called Canang sari so they may thank Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in praise and prayer. Canang sari is seen in Balinese temples (pura), on small shrines in houses, and on the ground or as a part of a larger offering.
